Many LOQW, Inc. consumers mark their calendars every year for the annual Hannibal Regional Office Art Show. Whether painting, sculpting, drawing, or photographing, many consumers in the Hannibal community programs prepare artwork with the hopes of having it displayed for their community during the event. Two of those consumers are Timmy Riffle and Rosemary White. In May of 2008, Timmy and Rosemary attended the HRO Art Show and were proud to show their friends and family the beautiful marble paintings they had created. But that wasn’t all! Timmy and Rosemary both were pleasantly surprised when a local service organization, Northeast Independent Living Services (NEILS), purchased both of their marble paintings to be hung in their new office building in downtown Hannibal. NEILS framed the artwork and attached name plates so that everyone entering their new building could appreciate the efforts and talents of Timmy and Rosemary. Both consumers are looking forward to NEILS’ open house reception where they will be able to show off their accomplishments to their family and friends.
