Community Services

Activities of Daily Living
This service is designed to enhance an individual's opportunity to become a valued member of their community. Activities of Daily Living Services focus on skills such as self-care, domestics, safety, social adjustment, and community membership. Activities of Daily Living Services are provided to a minimal number of individuals and the program is exclusive to the individuals of Monroe City.

Individual Offsite Training
Individual Offsite Training services are designed to assist individuals in gaining the necessary supports to successfully live and access their community independently. These services are very individualized and designed to be provided within the home and community of the individual.

Respite Care
Respite Care includes providing care to individuals who are unable to care for themselves, on a short-term basis, because of absence or need for relief of those persons normally providing care. The service is provided in the individual's home.

Personal Care Assistant
This service provides individual services to assist an individual with all aspects of daily living. This service may be provided in the community, at home, or on a job site. The personal assistant may provide general supervision and protective oversight or perform some of the activities for the individual.

Off Site Group
A service provied in the community with a 1 to 4 staffing ratio. It focuses on the training of socialization and community skills
