In April of 1983, the agency became incorporated as a not-for-profit organization. Today LOQW serves 14 counties in Northeast Missouri, employs over 100 people, and serves approximately 400 individuals.

We value staff, volunteers, and Community members who take an active interest in persons with disabilities.

We value open and ongoing communication with persons who have disabilities and all who touch their lives.

We value the facilitation and enhancement of resources to ensure quality services.
